Help Bring Life Back to the Farm! Urgent Need for Water!

Hello. My name is Mariah Wagner. I have created this GoFundMe in order to help my Mama, Cindy Wagner. She has a passion for gardening, flower growing, peacock raising, and all things green in nature. She is the strongest, bravest, most selfless God-fearing woman I know. But recently, her well has run dry…literally.

My mom was the full time caregiver for both her parents, and eventually her husband, my Dad. My grandparents lived a half mile from my parents, so my mom would spend her days trekking back and forth between houses tending to their needs. Grandpa passed 1-14-2022, Grandma 1-29-2023, and Dad 1-9-2024. Needless to say, the years prior to and leading up to their deaths were extremely difficult on her mentally, physically, and financially.

Heartbreakingly, the hardships and literal storms continued. Roofs lifted, windows broke, ceilings fell, $3500 spent in September last year for all new equipment in a well that has now gone dry. My mom has been left to take on these challenges without half her support system.

All things green in nature that once was her oasis on the prairie, is no more. The lawn is quickly browning, fruit trees have wilted, and traveling to do daily household chores and transport water for the livestock has become overwhelming.

However, there is a silver lining to this story! There is another well! The problem? It’s near my grandparent’s homestead. My mom was quoted $5600 to run water from that well to her home IF they don’t run into any rock.

All of the other trials we have been able to work through as a family, but this is one we can’t do on our own. We would be incredibly grateful for any assistance you could offer.
