Help save the dogs on Koh Mook, Thailand
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Megan, I am from Kildare in Ireland. I have been travelling Thailand and now feel compelled to stay and help these dogs. I am fundraising to help save the dogs here on Koh Mook. I have recently got here and the first thing I noticed when I arrived was the amount of stray dogs . I quickly learned there is nothing here, not doctors, pharmacies or vets. There is hundreds if not thousands of dogs here with no help at all. These dogs deserves a second chance, and with your support, we can make a lasting difference in their lives. Let's come together and be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. Your donation brings us one step closer to creating a world where all dogs are treated with love and respect. We need a lot of treatments and to get a vet to visit here as I can’t take them all on the ferry to the nearest island for help. They need food/decent meals each so there is less casualties. Most of the dogs, including pups, are badly hurt and starving. Even with all this they are still so loving and friendly, just wanting some love and food. It will cost minimum 4,000 baht per dog for treatments only, not including food - this should cost around 30 baht per dog a day. Roughly €100 per dog for vets and about 0.50c a day for food. This is just a start to get these dogs help to make them happy and healthy. The end goal is to open a shelter and have a local vet here on Koh Mook, and mainly get some of these dogs a loving forever home. Any one who takes part in this is saving these dogs with me, they can’t thank you but I can. I will give daily updates on this journey, I hope you want to help them as much as I do.
