Please help us replace the items lost during Hurricane Ida.
Our local town getaway, the Cranford Canoe Club needs your help! Last night, flash floods and heavy rain due to Ida, flooded our building and property with almost 4ft of water, and with it, we lost many of our machines, products and furniture. Because of this, we will have to close for the rest of the season and replace everything we lost.
Our family has run the Cranford Canoe Club since 2007 as its Concessionaires. Since then, we have found a community in Cranford and her residents. We have hosted numerous birthday parties, girl and boy scout outings and every year, we host the annual 4th of July Canoe Races, and the annual Rubber Ducky races in the fall.
We have had many customers who come back year after year. The Canoe Club is a staple of the town and almost every resident has at some point stopped by. We have even met people who grew up in the town, and have been coming to the Canoe Club for decades. It is a historical site in Cranford and has been standing strong since 1907.
We can not do this alone. We need your help to get back on our feet. This is where we ask you, our community for the last 14 years, for help. We are raising funds to help offset all the costs of replacing our concessionaire items, damaged machines, product and furniture.
**None of these funds are being used for building renovations, the town owns the property and is covering anything under that. All funds are for the concessionaire, Ralph Circelli, to replace our business supplies and products**
Every donation, big or small, is appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please share. Spread the word far and wide and help us keep the Canoe Club alive!
