I'm Helen, I'm fundraising to save 6 puppies I found at the roadside in Kalkan, Turkey, after a storm. The puppies were only about a week old, they were all soaking wet and crying. The mum was desperate. I took them somewhere dry and fed the mum. I looked after them the following week until I returned to the UK. They are now being fed by local volunteers. The lives of these dogs are very uncertain, they are likely to be taken to horrifically overcrowded shelters which are rife with disease, with little food and limited vet care.

I'm hoping to raise the money for the Vet fees to cover vaccinations, rabies testing and passports to get the puppies ready for travel to the UK.

The more money we raise, the more of these puppies we can save. Every donation will go towards helping Kalkan dogs. If these dogs don't survive, donations will go to KAPSA: Kalkan Association for the protection of street animals. A UK registered charity.
