On Monday, December 22, my world turned upside down when I found my beloved cat, Target (also known as Titty Kitty), hanging by his back leg, stuck in my fence. With the help of my friends, I was able to get him free and rushed him to the veterinary clinic. The X-rays showed that he had a severe break, and the vet gave me three options: surgery, amputation, or euthanasia. Hearing those words broke my heart. The vet splinted Target’s leg and kept him overnight to monitor his condition. The next morning, I was able to bring him home, but the vet explained that because of his open wounds, I have to make a decision soon. Since coming home, all Target wants is to be close to me. He is still my Titty Kitty, my Velcro cat, and my snuggle support pet. I want to give him a chance for a few more years by my side. Any donations will be used to cover the cost of Target’s veterinary expenses, including visits, surgeries, medications, and ongoing care. I know this might be a stressful and expensive situation for some time, and every bit of help will make a difference. I know that everyone is struggling these days, and it is hard for me to ask for help. If anyone donates, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really appreciate anything anyone does.
