Help Save Cap! - My Sister’s Kitten Needs Urgent FIP Treatment
Organized by J.R., on behalf of my sister Tara
Hi, my name is J.R., and I’m raising funds on behalf of my sister, Tara, and her precious kitten, Cap. The poor little guy is in a life-threatening fight against FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).
Tara adopted Cap just a few short months ago. From the moment she brought him home, he became her constant companion—curled up in her arms, following her from room to room, always purring, always loving. He’s more than just a kitten—he’s family.
But recently, Cap became very sick. He stopped playing, lost his appetite, and his belly began to weeze. Tara rushed him to the vet, and the diagnosis was heartbreaking: Cap has FIP, a rare and aggressive viral disease that is almost always fatal without treatment.
The Situation
FIP used to be a death sentence for kittens. But now, there’s a new antiviral treatment that has saved thousands of cats around the world. The medication works but it is expensive, and treatment must begin immediately.
Tara has done everything she can. She’s already stretched her finances just getting Cap diagnosed and stabilized. But she can’t afford the full cost of treatment alone. That’s why I’m stepping in to help and why we’re reaching out for assistance as well.
How You Can Help
Every donation will go directly toward:
Life-saving antiviral medication
Ongoing vet visits and lab monitoring
Supportive care throughout Cap’s treatment
This isn’t just about a kitten—it’s about love, hope, and giving a little life the chance he deserves. If you can give anything, no matter how small, you’ll be making a real difference.
If you’re not able to donate right now, please consider sharing this page. Spreading the word helps more than you know.
Cap still purrs when he hears Tara’s voice and feels her pets. He’s still fighting. And with your help, we believe he can make it.
Thank you for reading, supporting, and believing in this little warrior.
With gratitude,
J.R. (on behalf of Tara and Cap)
