Help Save Tango’s Leg

Post-Surgery Update: Tango's surgery went well and he overcame all the obstacles in front of him. His bones accepted the pins, he survived anesthesia, and he still has 4 legs! The surgeon said his bone had punched through his quadriceps muscle, and that has also been repaired. Poor little fella. But he's definitely a trooper. Thank you to everyone who is helping me to help him and tremendous gratitude to all the divine forces who are managing this situation!

Tango Update: After calling every orthopedic vet around, I found one who could see us today. Everyone else was booked until August. I raced out of work to get him here. He has a broken femur that detached from his kneecap. Because he’s so young with tiny bones, pins could work but they could also potentially split the bone. If that happens, amputation is the only option. The vet won’t know until he tries. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning and Tango will spend tonight and probably tomorrow night in the hospital.
While I still don’t know what happened, I suspect it was one of three possibilities: Posey played too rough; he landed wrong; Kinnie and Finnegan were playing on the couch and stepped on him. That would explain why his fur was matted - if they licked him to make him feel better. It’s not logical to think they purposely hurt him because if that was the case, he’d be dead, bloody, etc. They’re not mean pups.
I know my angels are at work as they always are. They send signs all day every day. The facts that Tango was the only one in his litter to live, fended off predators while living outside, got past the Canadian border without shots, AND got into see a surgeon in under 24 hours, tells me he’s a trooper and his life is important. (And the cost will be around $3,600 - still a lot, but less than $6,000.)
Please send prayers/positive energy to Tango and his surgeon, Dr. Scott Zielinski, for the best possible outcome. I believe it will all work out in every way and that divine forces are working their magic.

Little Tango was rescued from a farm, where he was born and living outside. We don’t know what happened to any litter mates, and he was fending off coyotes and hawks all by himself.
After a long car ride, he found himself in soft cozy home with other animal friends. Then he got hurt - maybe from wrestling his kitty sister or landing wrong from a fall. Sometime in a 4 hour timeframe while his new Mom was at work, his right rear knee dislocated.
The emergency vet said options are surgical repair at approximately $5-6,000 - or - amputation. Amputation comes with its share of lifelong complications - arthritis, imbalance on the remaining limbs, inability to scratch, etc. I can’t do that to him if there’s an option of giving him a normal kitty life with all four legs. Will you help save this baby’s leg - he’s only 9 weeks old?
