Help Save Sweet Rescue Cat, Nova

Nova is a sweet rescue cat who belongs to my dear friend, Jeannine. Nova has been struggling with a wound in her leg since May; after having an operation to remove a tumor, she's been through infections, antibiotics, follow-up surgeries, rashes, and steroids, and she is now seeing a specialist. At this point, Nova's wound is still open, and laser therapy is needed in order for it to heal. Without it, Jeannine will have no choice but to put her sweet baby to sleep.

Like many writers by trade, Jeannine’s longtime copywriting position was axed with the advent of AI, and she’s been hit by rising costs of living and a dismal job market. She has sold precious belongings, maxed out her credit cards, and gone hungry herself in order to make sure Nova receives treatment and both her cats are fed and (otherwise) healthy. But after months of treatment and many sleepless nights with Nova, Jeannine's resources have run out.
