Help save sweet Lola's life

UPDATE: When Lola was undergoing the initial treatment for infection, they discovered late stage cancer that was incurable and progressing extremely quickly. We had to change course and make the very difficult decision to end her suffering. She has spent the past day at home surrounded by so much love. We are so incredibly grateful for all of the help we have received. I have updated the goal to reflect the amount that covers her revised hospital bill, pain medication, and home euthanasia. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this incredibly heartbreaking time a little easier for my family. We appreciate you all so much, and we know Lola has felt all of the love rallied around her the past couple days.

Lola is my mom's emotional support dog who has been keeping her and my grandmother safe and supported in their home in North Austin. She is so incredibly sweet, intelligent, and loving. She came down with a sudden illness last night and the vet hospital is asking for $6,000 to treat her, which we just don't have. It's been a very difficult year for my family involving lots of loss and financial hardship, and Lola is so important to us all. We can't imagine being without her, and are so sad and scared that we cannot move forward with saving her life until we figure out how to pay for her medical bills. Please help us save Lola, every little bit helps. <3
