Help save Sunshine’s Farm!
Help us save our family farm.
We have been prioritizing the most important things first yet we have reached a point were we need help. For that reason we are reaching out to you, our friends and families to see if you can help us save our farm.
We want to eventually raise our families in the same way we were raised: With open space, access to happy animals, and the beauty of a life surrounded by nature. This is a community that has shown us how kindness can bear fruit.
The mission for our farm – Sunshine’s Farm– is simple: To provide the best quality produce for you and your family.
Hmong Refugee Farmers: Kevin and Sandy Yang
Our parents have been farming here in the Central Valley for over 30+ years. Kevin and Sandy Yang migrated to the USA in the early 90s with nothing but the clothes on their backs and their 5 small children with hopes of a better life. Fast forward to today they are still farmers with a house full of children and beautiful grandchildren. Through hard work and perseverance they were able to save enough money towards a downpayment in financing the land Sunshine’s Farm is currently operating on right now.

Next Generation Farmers: Ge & Pangia Xiong, Veterans to Farmers
Farming is in our blood. With the support of our entire family, my husband and I have decided to take on the responsibility of taking over the family farm from our parents so they can retire. Who are we? My husband and I are currently serving in the California Army National Guard stationed here in Fresno, CA. We pledge to save our family farm! We embrace hard work because we have never known any different. Our parents taught us firsthand that hard work pays off!

Every contribution will go directly to helping save this farm. First and foremost, your donations will help with the delinquent mortgage and property taxes.
We are committed to remaining in Fresno, CA and being vital, profitable contributors to this thriving farming community. Finally, we hope to pay these kindnesses forward to benefit the next generation of farmers, who might just be our own children.
