The Richards family is asking for your help to raise funds for Sunny’s Emergency surgery. For the past few days he has been sick with vomiting and diarrhea. We took him in to the vet and they ran several tests and gave him some anti nausea meds and sent us home. Several hours later he began shaking and drooling and became very unsteady. We made the choice to bring him to the ER vet and they ran more tests and checked more bloodwork and took X-rays and did ultrasound sounds. Still vomiting while in the waiting area they administered Iv fluids with more anti nausea meds. We left to go home and shower and clean up and got the dreaded call. Sunny has two options Emergency surgery or put him down. They advised he has a mass in his intestinal track that will need to be removed and sent off to pathology to rule out a cancer or benign mass, or possibly something else. He is unable to keep any thing down at this point. The scary part is this type of surgery has like all surgery many possible complications and we will not know anything till after he comes out of surgery. My daughter and I and my son decided to try with the surgery to try to save Sunny! At this point his total cost of care has reached just under 15k. Any help to cover these cost would be greatly appreciated and please pray for Sunny to have a successful surgery!
