You can make a difference by donating today to Hisses to Purrs.
Hisses to Purrs is a Morphett Vale based cat rescue focusing on street cats in the southern area. We rescue, socialise, vet and rehome street cats and kittens. We rely solely on donations and do not receive government funding. The generous donations of the public have helped us save many kittens who would have otherwise died on the street. Since founding in 2021, Hisses to Purrs has rescued over 670 street cats with less than 10 volunteers at any one time.
All donations go directly to providing vet work such as desexing, microchipping and vaccinations as well as medical treatments for sick kittens, Royal Canin food, litter and parasite treatments.
To get a female's vet work done it costs the rescue $201.20. To get a male done $181.20. Including food, litter and parasite treatments, each kitten costs over $300. With adoption fees only $230 for a kitten, we need to fundraise to cover any emergencies. While our goal is high, we're hoping that we can reach this amount by July next year.
If we reach $5000, we'll also be able to start a last litter program for low income people in our area to desex their cats while taking the kittens under rescue care to reduce the unwanted kitten population next kitten season.
We thank you for your support
