My name is Keishla, and I’m fundraising for our beloved dog, Stella — our 5-year-old Fila Brasileiro who has been part of our family since she was only 8 weeks old. When we brought her home, she was still learning to walk on her tiny paws, and we never imagined how much love and joy she would bring into our lives.

Over the past few weeks, Stella became weak, lost her appetite, and dropped from 130 lbs to 108 lbs. After rushing her to the vet, we were devastated to learn that she has pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection that can only be cured through emergency surgery. She has been bleeding and needs the operation as soon as possible to save her life.

Stella is not “just a dog” to us — she’s our daughter. My husband and I have been together for 8 years and haven’t been able to have children. Stella filled that empty space in our hearts with unconditional love. She’s always been affectionate, gentle, and thinks she’s a tiny Chihuahua despite her big size. Seeing her so weak and in pain is breaking our hearts.

The estimated cost for her surgery, hospitalization, and medications is about $2,000. We have a quote from the vet and are doing everything we can, but we need help to make this happen in time.

Stella no es “solo una mascota” para nosotros — es nuestra hija. Mi esposo y yo llevamos 8 años juntos y no hemos podido tener hijos. Stella llenó ese vacío en nuestros corazones con amor incondicional. Siempre ha sido cariñosa, noble y dulce, y aunque es grande, ella cree que es del tamaño de un Chihuahua. Verla tan débil y con dolor nos parte el alma.

El costo estimado de su cirugía, hospitalización y medicamentos es de aproximadamente $2,000. Tenemos la cotización del veterinario y estamos haciendo todo lo posible, pero necesitamos ayuda para lograrlo a tiempo.
