Help Save Squanchy's Tail: Urgent Need
Donation protected
Hi everyone - I'm Brittany and this is my youngest cat, Squanch or Squanchy. He is 2 years old and recently had an accident - he cut his tail so badly and unfortunately needs part of his tail amputated.
I've been an animal lover all of my life and have never had to go through this with any of my pets until now. This is an absolute shock and a devastating tragedy to our little furry family. I'm barely holding together, trying to do anything possible to help my baby. My animals are my whole world.
Squanch is my youngest foster fail because of his incredibly brave and loving nature! He immediately befriended our puppy as a kitten and joined our family. His best friends are our youngest dog Loona and our middle child cat, Gangle. They play and snuggle every day and even they are worried about what's happening to Squanch.
We could really use your help. Squanch is currently staying at the vet and will be having his surgery on Thursday, May 29th to have his tail amputated. This is a huge bill that no one can expect or plan for! I have never ever been in a position where I've needed help to this level, as I am usually pretty financially stable but I've recently had a lot of medical issues and haven't been working as much. I'm still recovering too and trying to do anything I can to cover the lost work. I've been selling off anything of value, just to cover the normal bills, but this amputation surgery is completely unexpected yet necessary to save his tail.
Please. I'm exhausted, emotionally and physically and I feel completely overwhelmed, like Life won't stop throwing curve balls my way. It's been a tough few months and we could really use some sunshine about now. Dealing with my own medical issues is hard enough, but dealing with my youngest cat's medical issues just wrecks my world. I love my babies so, so much. They've been with me through these rough times recently and I really want to be there for them too. I just know I need help and that's the hardest thing to realize and admit when you're a do-it-all kind of person like me!
If you could please help me and Squanchy, in any way you can, it would be life changing! $1, $5, anything to help cover the cost of his tail surgery will make a HUGE difference to us! Thank you for even taking the time to read about our "tail". We really appreciate you!!
