My name is Juan and this is my dog, Sonny. Sonny is my boy, he is my companion, the best dog out there but most importantly, he's part of my family.

On Sept. 3rd, I noticed him feeling really uncomfortable and wouldn't stop vomiting. I checked him and noticed his belly was very bloated. I have never seen him like this before so I rushed him to the emergency vet. Upon examination and an X-ray it was confirmed he has Bloat also known as Gastric dilation-volvulus. It is a condition where a dog's stomach twists itself. It is very painful and if not treated right away, fatal.

I was quoted from 10k low range - 12k high range which is a lot of money, money I honestly do not have right now. I was approved for 8k for Care Credit and the rest I am trying to figure out with credit cards.

I hate to ask for financial help but I also don't want my dog to die. I kindly ask anyone who is willing and capable of donating, please help me save Sonny boy. From the bottom of my heart, I will forever be grateful.

9/4 Update: Sonny had his surgery yesterday night and thankfully everything went well. He stayed at the emergency vet until late afternoon and after he started eating, he got discharged. He is now home and we are happy and grateful that he is still with us. However, I still have a daunting bill of $8,100. I have put this on Care Credit and have to figure out a way to cover this bill. I honestly can't do it by myself. I am so grateful for the support and help so far, and I hope more people can help me out with such an unexpected expense.
