I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep plea for help. Our sweet cat Sol, who we’ve raised since he was a tiny kitten, is now in critical condition after ingesting something poisonous and obstructive. The only option left to save his life is emergency surgery.

Sol is just 3 years old — still so young and full of life. He’s not just our pet — he’s family. He has been with us through everything, always offering comfort with his gentle purrs and warm presence.

Sol is a smart and special cat who amazes everyone who knows him with his unique personality. He’s playful, curious, and always finds a way to make people smile. His bond with our family, especially his brother Yamen, is incredibly special — they are truly the best of friends.

Over the last few days, Sol has had a persistent fever of 105°F, and despite medications and supportive care, nothing has worked. His condition is not improving, and surgery is now the only hope to remove the obstruction and help him recover.

We are doing everything we can to fight for him, but the cost of the surgery and care is more than we can handle on our own. That’s why we’re turning to our community — friends, family, and compassionate strangers — for help.
