The community of Fells Point, Baltimore knows Spencer and the beloved Snowdrift all too well. Snowdrift is a deaf, gentle, and inspirational pup. Snowdrift will be 7 years young on May 7th. She was adopted by Spencer as a puppy- Snowdrift was abandoned for being deaf. Spencer is a professional dog trainer and has trained dogs all over the country. He's extremely experienced with dogs and will not hesitate to let you know Snowdrift is special and the best dog he's trained! Anyone that has encountered this sweet pup will agree, Snowdrift is a unique, gentle, deep soul.
Unfortunately money is tight for Spencer- Snowdrift is in need of some medical attention that is beyond what Spencer can currently afford. Our neighborhood knows and loves Spence and Snowdrift and one of our own needs our help.
Snowdrift is in need of serious medical care. She has an injured leg that will require surgery (you may have seen her limping on walks). Snowdrift needs dental care and the removal of decaying teeth. She has also recently developed a quarter-sized open wound on her back that has only gotten deeper and larger. She has two tumors interfering with her walking and several other lumps on her body. Some days Snowdrift is so sick and in pain she refuses to eat.
All funds will be used for Snowdrift's vet bills. This includes surgery, medications, and follow-ups. Due to the nature of this situation, funds are needed within two weeks (by April 9th). This date may be prolonged according to donations.
Spencer and Snowdrift are a fantastic duo our neighborhood appreciates. She is the light of Spence's life and a celebrity in our community (have you seen her on the local news or her Vimeo documentary?!). Spencer and those close to him will be forever grateful for the chance to save Snowdrift. His life and our community would not be the same without Snowdrift.
