I’m reaching out for help for my beloved dog, Slash. He has been my loyal companion through so much, and right now he’s facing a serious health crisis. Over the past few days, Slash has become very lethargic, his eating habits have changed, and I’ve noticed an irregular heartbeat. I’m taking him to the vet today because I’m deeply concerned about his condition.

Slash already has a long medical history. He’s undergone TPLO surgery on his leg, struggles with seizures, and takes multiple medications every month that I faithfully provide for him. These costs are already significant, but I have always made them a priority because Slash means the world to me.

What terrifies me now is the possibility of another major surgery or expensive emergency care. I simply cannot afford it. If this vet visit ends up costing more than $500, I may be forced into making the heartbreaking decision to put him down — and I do not want to do that. I want to fight for him, to give him the best chance at a longer, happier life by my side.
