A week ago, our lives turned upside down when we received the devastating news about my 23-year-old sister, Siwani Thapa. She has been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a rare and severe condition that requires urgent treatment through a Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT), commonly known as a Bone Marrow Transplant.

Siwani has always been a vibrant and outgoing person, and her diagnosis came as a shock to all of us. In Nepal, where medical resources for such treatments are limited, we have made the difficult decision to seek treatment for her in India. This is our best chance at saving her life.
