Our missing boy Sir has been found, but he needs a medical miracle. Sir was found severely injured and completely paralyzed in his hind legs. We rushed him to the emergency vet in Flowood, where the doctor kept emphasizing how incredibly healthy and strong Sir is overall, but how bad his spine is. Because he is so strong, he has a fighting chance—but we have to act fast.

We are transporting him to the Animal hospital in Hattiesburg tomorrow, they specialize with his condition. He needs an immediate CT scan and emergency surgery to place pins, plates, or a brace to save his spine. Right now, we have him safe, loved, and completely immobilized on a flat bed in our van to protect his spine from further damage. We are keeping him in the van to avoid moving him multiple times, which could risk further injury, until we reach the hospital. He is a fighter, and we refuse to give up on him, but we cannot afford this emergency alone.
