Simba is our almost 11-year-old German Shepherd pitbull mix, and she means the world to our family. She was originally our late son's dog, and after his passing in 2016, Simba became an even more important part of our lives. She is now the emotional support dog for our adopted grandson, who is almost 10 and has autism. Simba's gentle presence brings comfort and stability to our home, and we can't imagine life without her.

Recently, Simba got into some poison and her condition has become very serious. She is lethargic, not responding, and may be bleeding internally. We rushed her to the veterinarian, but the costs for her care, possible blood transfusions, medications, and ongoing treatment are more than we can manage on our own. Our hearts are broken, and we are desperate to do everything we can to help her recover and keep her with us.
