After failed negotiations with the new owner of Shoofly Vegan Bakery, the bakers, baristas & delivery driver have decided to launch our new business, Catscratch Co-op Vegan Bakery!

Starting from scratch (aha) is daunting but also liberating. We have the talent, passion and dedication to make this work. The soul of Shoofly remains with us and we’re so excited to share our familiar yet new recipes with you!

Catscratch Co-op is an LLC structured as a cooperative. We’re in the middle of signing a lease on a new retail space, purchasing equipment, and designing for our retail. We’re making progress fast but we could use help with starting capital that will go directly towards establishing ourselves and serving you the same kind of pastries you can’t really get anywhere else. We’ll be doing wholesale, subscription boxes and counter service retail in less than a month barring unexpected delays. We’re working harder to ever to raise money with more bake sales, too!
