Sheba is my sweet baby dog and my emotional support companion. About three weeks ago, she had to have her left eye removed. Today, I took her to a specialist to see if we could save her right eye. The vet gave me three options: continue with the drops I’ve been giving her, which will prolong her vision for a while; have a shunt inserted into her eye, which could help save her vision for years; or remove her right eye as well.
Sheba is my best friend and I will do anything to make sure she can see, even if it’s just a little, for as long as possible. She loves being outdoors, going for walks, and visiting her doggy friends. Chasing squirrels and watching birds are her favorite things to do. I have already paid a significant amount to have her left eye removed, not knowing there might have been a way to save it. The cost for the shunt surgery and follow-up visits is more than I can afford on my limited income.
Any and all funds raised will go directly to her vet in Meridian, Idaho. Sheba and I really need your help. Your support will help give her the best chance to keep enjoying the things she loves. Thank you so much for considering helping us.
