Hi everyone,

My name is Kierron, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help for my beloved dog, Shadow. Shadow is a 9-year-old King Charles Cavalier who has been bravely battling diabetes for the past three years. But recently, his health took a sudden and severe turn for the worse. Shadow was diagnosed with pancreatitis and acidic ketosis, which put him in critical condition. We rushed him to the emergency vet, and he spent two days in the hospital where the vets worked tirelessly to stabilize him. Thankfully, he pulled through, but the medical bills have left me overwhelmed and struggling to manage the cost.

The total cost of his hospitalization and care is $3,000, and while I’ve been able to cover part of it, I am now in need of help to raise $1,200 to pay off the remaining balance. I’m hoping to ease some of the financial burden so that I can continue to provide Shadow with the ongoing care he needs.

Shadow has been living with diabetes for three years, and this requires constant attention. He needs daily insulin injections twice a day, which will continue for the rest of his life. On top of that, his eyesight is deteriorating rapidly, and he can only see shapes and shadows. He often walks into things, which is heartbreaking to watch.

Shadow is more than just a pet—he’s been my loyal companion through thick and thin. He’s been there for me during some of my toughest moments, and now I’m asking for help to give him the best chance at a full and comfortable life. His care will be ongoing, and I’m doing everything I can to provide him with the love and medical attention he needs.
