While cleaning up my back porch, I spotted something out of the corner of my eye—a tiny patch of fur in the sun. Dropping everything, I found a 5-week-old kitten, covered in diarrhea and struggling to clean itself. The poor thing tried to run but could barely wobble away. I grabbed my garden gloves, scooped up the kitten, and was heartbroken to see it didn’t even fight me. I brought the kitten inside, gently cleaned it with warm water, and wrapped it in a towel. Now, Seven is resting in my bathroom, safe for the moment.
While cleaning Seven, I noticed a hernia near the tidbits and extra toes on the front paws. Seven needs to be seen by a vet as soon as possible, but I can’t afford the care on my own. I refuse to release Seven back outside, knowing that would mean certain death. My husband and I named the kitten Seven, and our hearts ache for this baby who deserves a fighting chance.
All funds raised will go directly to Seven’s care—vet bills, services, and any medication needed. Please help and donate to Seven’s care. I can’t do this alone, and with your support, we can give Seven the best chance at a good life. Seven is about 5 weeks old and deserves a fighting chance.
