Hi, our names are J & Nick and we are the founders of SCRUMPT, a bakery we built from the ground up with nothing but passion, hard work, and our last dollar. This business is our dream—but that dream is now in danger, for reasons out of our control.

We operate out of a facility called Oak Street Eats in Atlanta, which claims to support small food businesses like ours. But behind the scenes, it’s been a nightmare. We’ve dealt with constant setbacks due to poor facility management and neglect, including:

• An A/C outage that’s gone unresolved for over three weeks, risking product spoilage and unsafe working conditions

• A broken trash compactor, replaced with a U-Haul filled with trash, creating unsanitary and unsafe conditions

• CloudKitchens employees stealing or giving away my products, costing me money I can’t afford to lose

• A constant presence of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior from facility staff

• Fees I pay for support staff who are never present when needed

Despite all of this, we’ve kept going. We’ve kept baking. We’ve kept praying. We’ve kept believing. But the truth is—we need help.

These issues have drained our resources and put our business in a critical state. Your donation will go toward strictly finding us a safer, more reliable space to operate from. We will use it to cover moving costs, buying out our contract at CloudKitchens so we’re not stuck with more fees, and renovating the new space to make it operational.
