We never imagined we’d be here, but our Scouty boy is fighting for his life.

A few days ago, Scout ate garbage — including dental floss — and it has caused a blockage that’s now threatening his intestines. Without immediate surgery, the tissue will start to die… and the vet has been very clear:

If we can't pay soon, they will have to put him down. The estimate for surgery is

$8000-10000.

They have already put in $2500, of their own money, and are applying for lenders for the $8000, they haven’t heard back yet. Any amount helps!

We are doing absolutely everything we can, but we’re running out of time.

Scout is only 4 years old, healthy, happy, and full of life. He has so much more life ahead of him.

What makes this even harder is that Scout didn’t have an easy start. Before Sandra adopted him, he spent his first year bounced through 8 different homes. He came to Sandra's family with intense separation anxiety and fear, but Sandra never gave up on him. She worked with him, stayed patient, loved him through every meltdown and setback. Now they are inseparable...true best friends.

And now he needs her, and all of us, more than ever.

We rarely, ask for help. But this is one of those moments when pride has to take a back seat. Please...if you can spare anything...help us save Scouts's life!
