Help Save Scamp's Foot

Hello, my name is Sir Scamps-a-lot. My parents call me Scamp for short. I'm a 12 year old Purebred Cocker Spaniel. I have been with my parents John & Dee since I was 6 weeks old. I have a growth on the bottom of my paw and it hurts terribly to walk. My parents are retired and on fixed income, but they took me to the Vet to see what was wrong. They thought I had gotten a foxtail in my foot. The Vet said it was a growth, not from a seed. The Vet said a shot costing $150 might help, and a $200 biopsy would tell us if it is cancerous, and if it isn't around $1000.00 to operate and remove it. The Vet gave me steroids for $40 to see if that would help, but it hasn't. Here's a photo of my paw:

I wear a baby sock with pain killing antiseptic to keep it from getting worse and because I lick it.

If you can please help me get the test to make sure I don't have cancer and have the growth removed it would make my parents so happy. They will have this done as soon as they can afford it. They love me so much it makes them sad that they can't afford to pay for this themselves. I would love to run in the yard again and chase the bunnies and squirrels that come to visit.

PS from Mom & Dad: Scamp means the world to us. He may be the last pet we own due to our ages. We want to make him healthy again and be with us for at least a few more years. He loves the water, chases the stream from the hose and dries himself off on his towels. He has a remote control car he loves to chase around the house, sleeps on our bed and go on trips with us. We truly appreciate any help you can give!
