Hi friends,

We are reaching out with trembling hearts because time is not on our side

Our 5-month-old puppy Sasha urgently needs life-saving surgery. Born with an undetected congenital condition, a Portosystemic Shunt repair—estimated at $10,000. Without it, we may lose her.

Sasha is not “just a puppy.” She is family. She is healing. She is hope. She is our blessing.

My husband is retiring after 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, and we adopted Sasha from the SPCA as an emotional support companion for him and our children during this major life transition. She has become the emotional anchor in our home.

Sasha is also deeply bonded with our other rescue, Taylor (from Taiwan). They are inseparable—comforting, regulating, and healing each other. Losing Sasha would devastate Taylor and shatter our children’s hearts.

What’s happening

Sasha has a severe congenital liver condition requiring urgent surgical intervention. The medical team is ready—we cannot cover the full cost in the short window we’ve been given.
