Help Save Santiago: Urgent Medical Fund

Hello, my name is Uriel Garcia, and I am creating this fundraiser for my 1-year-old nephew, who is currently fighting for his life in a hospital in Mexico.

Just a few days ago, my nephew developed a high fever and suddenly collapsed. He began having serious trouble breathing and had to be rushed to the hospital. Upon arrival, he was placed on oxygen because he was struggling to breathe on his own. After running urgent tests, the doctors gave us heartbreaking news: his organs are swollen, his brain may also be affected, and he is currently unresponsive.

My brother, Octavio Garcia, a U.S. citizen, is doing everything in his power to try to get his son medical help in the United States, but so far, no help has come. He is a hard-working man going through an incredibly tough time right now — work has been slow, and the medical bills are overwhelming. My brother is desperate to save his little boy’s life but doesn’t have the resources to fight this battle alone.

We’ve been told the medical costs could reach $30,000 USD. These expenses include his emergency hospitalization, oxygen support, medications, and continued treatment to give him a fighting chance.

Why We Are Asking For Help:

These medical treatments are extremely expensive, and every day in the hospital brings more costs. Without help, we cannot keep him in the care he urgently needs to survive.

My brother and our entire family are devastated and doing everything we can, but we can’t do this alone.
