Help Save Samuel’s Life – Urgent Heart Surgery Need

Beyond Culture Foundation is raising funds for Odesanya Samuel, a 19-year-old nursing student in Ijebu-Ode, Nigeria, diagnosed with congenital heart disease. He suffers from fainting spells, chest pain, and difficulty breathing, and has been diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) with Eisenmenger Syndrome—a life-threatening condition affecting his heart and lungs.

His Pulmonary CT Angiogram confirms severe complications, including right ventricular hypertrophy and pulmonary arterial hypertension, requiring urgent surgery. Due to his deteriorating health, Samuel has paused his education and is under close monitoring at home.

The cost of his life-saving surgery is 8 million Naira (about $6,000)—far beyond what his family can afford.
