My sisters fur baby, Sadie, was born with a diaphragmatic hernia and an enlarged heart. This is a rare 1% congenital issue that usually causes kittens to be still born or die after birth due to her enlarged heart. Shes almost 3 and until now has just grown as a healthy, happy and sometimes sassy and troublemaking cat. She has taken a turn and started to decline, and surgery is the only option for her survival at this point. Her liver and other organs have moved into the cavity where her heart is and cause strain on her heart. It is fixable with surgery. Her expectation to live through surgery is really optimistic and almost 100% effective.
If you are able to donate, even a $1, we would be so grateful in helping save Sadie’s life. My sister has already spent all of her savings for vet bills, and we have about 2 weeks until her surgery. Happy to provide vet receipt, or we can arrange the donations to go straight to the vet. Thank you friends!!
