Our family has experienced unimaginable loss. My brother and his girlfriend tragically passed away in a fire at my parents’ house, along with three of their beloved pets. Rusty, their only surviving dog, was pulled from the house and immediately required immense oxygen support. The next day, Rusty began to suffer from severe seizures, likely due to smoke inhalation and lack of oxygen. He is also at risk of losing his sight from painful corneal ulcers.

The emergency vet bill for Rusty’s care covers the oxygen, seizure treatment, and ongoing care he desperately needs. Saving Rusty feels like we are preserving a piece of my brother and Mary, and we are doing everything we can to help him recover.
