Hi everyone,
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, but I’m asking for help for my best friend, Ruger.
Ruger is a 5-year-old Doberman with the biggest heart and the most loyal soul. From the moment he came into our lives, he’s been more than just a dog — he’s family. He’s our protector, our comfort on hard days, and the one who’s always there with a wagging tail and unconditional love.
Recently, our world was turned upside down when Ruger was diagnosed with Wobblers Syndrome, a serious neurological condition that affects his spine. It has already begun impacting his mobility, and without surgery, his condition will continue to worsen. The heartbreaking reality is that this surgery is his best chance at living a pain-free, happy life.
The cost of the surgery and related care is estimated to be around $15,000, which includes the procedure, hospitalization, imaging, and recovery. We are doing everything we can, but this is more than we can manage on our own.
Ruger is still so young. He still has so much life left to live — more walks, more cuddles, more goofy Doberman zoomies, and more years of being the incredible dog we love so deeply. Seeing him struggle is devastating, and all we want is to give him the chance he deserves.
Any donation, no matter the amount, truly means the world to us. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as appreciated. Every bit of support helps bring us one step closer to getting Ruger the care he desperately needs.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, for caring, and for helping us fight for Ruger.
With love and gratitude,
Noelle, Cody & Ruger
