Help Support Rosalie :(

Rosalie is just 14 weeks old. She was born with only one kidney, and that kidney has a blockage. From the very beginning of her short life, she has been fighting serious infections that no baby should ever have to endure.

In just her first 14 weeks of life, Rosalie has already had five hospital admissions due to urinary tract infections and sepsis. She has spent more time in hospital than at home. Each time she becomes critically unwell — with high temperatures, breathing difficulties, mottled skin, and rapid deterioration.

What is most frightening for us as her family is that each time she becomes ill, she appears weaker, and we are increasingly worried about how much more her little body can take. We are terrified that her tiny body is being pushed to its limits.

Despite her complex condition and repeated severe infections, we feel that her situation is not being treated with the urgency it demands. Her admissions are being handled as isolated episodes rather than recognised as part of a dangerous and escalating pattern. We are deeply concerned that her case is being lost within the system, and that critical opportunities for early specialist intervention are being missed.

As a family, we are watching a 14-week-old baby with one functioning kidney and a known blockage become seriously ill again and again, and we fear that continued delays are placing her only kidney — and her life — at risk.

We have now reached the point where we feel we have no choice but to seek private medical care as a matter of urgency. Rosalie urgently needs specialist paediatric kidney assessments, advanced diagnostic tests, and potentially surgery to relieve the blockage and protect her remaining kidney. We cannot afford to wait any longer while her health continues to decline.

Private healthcare comes with enormous costs, especially for a baby with such a complex and high-risk condition. Funds raised will be used to cover:
• Urgent consultations with specialist paediatric kidney consultants
• Essential diagnostic tests and scans
• Potential surgical treatment, if required
• Travel, accommodation, and practical costs associated with urgent medical care

Rosalie’s mum and dad are both young parents. Her mum is currently on maternity leave, and they have recently taken on a new mortgage. Alongside the emotional toll of repeated hospital admissions, they are facing a huge amount of financial pressure. Some of the funds raised will also be used to help ease this burden, allowing them to focus on being by Rosalie’s side and caring for her, rather than worrying about how to cover essential expenses during this incredibly difficult time.

We have set a target of £20,000 to give Rosalie the best possible chance of receiving the care she needs as quickly as possible, without further dangerous delays. Any unused funds will go towards ongoing medical care and follow-up to help safeguard her kidney and future health.

As her family, we are doing everything we can to fight for her while she is still strong enough to fight. If you are able to donate or share this page or give her a pray, you will be helping to protect a tiny baby — and support two young parents — who are facing more than most families ever should.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and prayers
