Rosalie, my beloved baby girl, recently went in for what was supposed to be a routine spay on 2/16/26. After the procedure, I noticed she wasn’t acting like herself and I just had a feeling something was wrong. Trusting my instincts, I rushed her to the emergency vet. There, I learned that Rosalie had suffered an unknown complication during her surgery, which led to her bleeding internally into her abdomen. The news was devastating, and she was immediately sent in for emergency surgery. She now needs multiple blood transfusions and will have to stay in the hospital for ongoing care and monitoring.

The costs for Rosalie’s emergency surgery, blood transfusions, hospital stay, and the medication she needs while hospitalized are overwhelming. I am doing everything I can to give her the best chance at recovery and to keep her alive, but I can’t do it alone. Every bit of support will go directly toward her life-saving care and help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.
