Hello, my name is Rocky. I live with my family, who loves me with all their heart. On 11/03/25, when my dad came home, the door was open. He immediately got scared and started looking for me, and he found me hiding in the closet, unable to move — my leg was clearly broken. He called my mom right away; she left work, and together they took me to the doctor!

Up to now, we don’t know if it was an accident or if someone hurt me by coming into our house. My owners had to take out a loan to cover the costs to find out what happened to me and what needed to be done. Unfortunately, the doctor said my leg is broken and gave us three options:

1. A surgery that would cost around $25,000 to $30,000.

2. To amputate my little leg, which would cost $3,000.

3. To put a cast on for 6 weeks and visit the doctor every week for X-rays to see if my leg is healing correctly, costing $1,000 per visit.

The last and hardest option is to put me to sleep. I’m only 8 months old, and I’m very happy because they adopted me and give me so much love! My whole family is very sad and worried because they don’t have enough money or resources to help save my leg or make the right decision.
