Hi, my name is Angel and I’m trying to raise funds to save our dog Rocco’s leg or amputate due to a broken femur. He is in extreme pain. Amputation costs $1,000 plus and metal pins cost $3,000 plus. Rocco is a 7 month old puppy and didn’t deserve this. The man who did this to him has pending felony animal cruelty charges in Hancock county Mississippi but unfortunately his arrest will not guarantee any financial support or help with our injured pup. If anyone in the community could help that would be an absolute blessing whether it’s $1 or $5. We spent a hefty amount of money on emergency vet services and cannot afford surgery. He lays on his dog bed wimpering and crying all day and night and it’s so painful to watch. All we can do is pick him up and stand him up so he can go potty here and there and put water to his mouth so he can drink and eat.

*EDIT* Rocco has just went back for his amputation. They were not able to save his leg. Thank you all to the generous people who have donated to save his life and to everyone who shared my fundraiser to help get the word out. Please pray for him to have an easy procedure with no complications. We will most likely be able to bring him home tomorrow and will have to bring him back to the saucier vet clinic regularly to make sure no further complications arise. He will be heavily medicated and watched very closely as leaving him alone gives him severe anxiety since the assault happened on him. I’m not sure we will ever be able to leave him unattended again.
