Help save Robina's life

Hi, my name is Leena, and I'm helping fundraise for my friend's mother, Robina Ilyas Muhammad. I'm raising these funds on behalf of a friend who lives in a country where the GoFundMe platform isn't currently available. The funds will be transferred to Farah Naz, who is Robina's daughter.

Robina lives in Dubai, and she has been gravely affected by COVID. She has been hospitalized since the start of this year with a critical condition of fibrosis in her lungs. She's now run out of health insurance coverage, which means she can no longer be hospitalized.

To keep her alive, the doctors have her connected to a BI-pap machine, and they believe she can recover as long as she can be home nursed and continue to have access to the NIV machine and oxygen equipment at home.

Her daughter, Farah is a dear friend, and she's the sole provider for her family at this time. Due to COVID, her brother lost his job and is unable to financially support the family either.

If we could raise funds to help this family through this difficult time, it would mean the difference between life and death. I've already donated $2,000 CAD, and I hope that together we can hit this fundraising goal to help save Robina's life.

* Farah is working to secure health insurance for her mom. The early estimates put the cost at AED 120,000 to AED 150,000 (~$50,000 CAD).
