Help Save Robert's Home: Eviction Deadline 2-28-2025!

Hi everyone, my name is Robert, and I’m reaching out for help during an incredibly difficult time. Due to unexpected circumstances, I’m currently facing eviction and have been ordered by the court to pay $5,924 by February 28th to remain in my home. I recently moved out of the apartment I was in prior and lost my job right before I moved into my new place that I'm in now.

I have been doing everything I can—working, selling personal items, and reaching out for assistance—but I’m still coming up short. I need to raise at least $3,500 to meet my goal and avoid homelessness. I recently started working again, and I'm so thankful to be employed. I've began to sell furniture just in case the dreadful day comes when I have to vacate my home, I would hate for the things that I've purchased to be thrown away instead of doing all that I could to get this balance resolved. While I don't get to enjoy my day-to-day as much, I find solace in knowing that the funds for my goal to save my home are patiently waiting in my savings account. Although I am working towards my goal, I have reached out to various rental assistance programs to seek funds that would help me in cancelling this eviction but I haven't heard back from anyone due to services being in such a high demand.

This is not easy for me to ask, but I am fighting to stay on my feet and rebuild my life. I have been a helping resource to so many people for so long that I'm used to providing assistance, but not so comfortable with asking for help when I need it. My mental, physical, and emotional state have taken a huge hit due to this occurrence. I've never experienced anything like this, and to feel like I'm not in control of my current life or future is daunting. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward my rent balance. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world to me.

I still have plans of getting my DJ and producing business up and running, but I have to take care of this business before I start on anything. If I'm not able to reach my goal, for whatever reason, these funds will be utilized to move out of state with family and start over. All is not lost, and I am trying my best to keep my head above water during this tough time.
