Rhino is more than just my pet—he’s my soul mate and constant companion. On Wednesday, Rhino suddenly began vomiting and stopped eating, which was terrifying. Early Thursday morning, I rushed him to the vet, where they took X-rays and started him on fluids because he was dehydrated. By Friday, his condition hadn’t improved, so I took him to the emergency vet. They recommended blood work and an ultrasound, but the cost was more than I could afford at the time. They gave him fluids and sent him home with me.
On Saturday, Rhino was still very sick. I took him with me to work, but seeing him deteriorate, I left and brought him back to the emergency vet. I borrowed money to pay for the exams and ultrasound. The vets told me Rhino urgently needed surgery, so I took him to another clinic where they could perform the procedure. The surgery itself was a major expense, but now Rhino is facing post-surgery complications, including peritonitis and infection. He’s hospitalized, receiving oxygen, antibiotics, and a urinary probe, and the ongoing care is adding up quickly.
At this point, I have exhausted all my savings, credit options, and borrowed funds. I would do anything for him—and I am—but I can’t do this alone. If you are able to donate, share, or even just send positive thoughts and prayers, it would mean more than words can express. Every dollar helps keep Rhino alive and gives him a chance to come home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, caring, and supporting us during this incredibly difficult time.
