Help Save Rey Rey of Thunderbird Salvage

If you have ever stepped foot into Thunderbird Salvage, it's a safe bet that you have been greeted by our friendly companion Rey Rey. Rey Rey is the little gray cat that found her way to us half a decade ago and became a staple and loved member of our family, business and community. During good or bad times, Rey Rey and her fun personality has always found a way to put a smile on the face of anyone who came in contact with her.  
     On Saturday night (September 5th, 2020) Rey was struck by a speeding car in front of our store. Sadly the driver didn't bother to stop and left our friend for dead in the street. Fortunately a couple of good samaritans witnessed the horrific scene and brought the accident to our attention. After franticly rushing our Rey Rey to an emergency veterinary clinic we received tragic news that she will need multiple surgeries. Rey Rey has suffered a fractured jaw, split mouth palate and a ruptured eye which will need to be removed. This calls for her to have multiple radiographs, round the clock care, feeding tubes, medications, oxygen, and surgeries. Our girl is lucky to be alive and is fighting for her life. 
     We understand that in these uncertain times, donating to save a cats life may not be on the top of your priority list, but to say that Rey Rey is not your average cat would be the ultimate understatement. Please help us save an extremely important member of our family. The total estimate received by the vet for full recovery is well over $10,000 dollars and will be needed immediately to start treatment. Even the smallest donation is greatly appreciated and brings us one step closer to getting our girl home.
