Help Save Retired MWD Barko’s Life

This has been hard for me to post but here we go ....As many of you know... My Military Working (Police) Dog Barko V114 was retired last Dec and came home with me... He’s been healthy and happy until two weeks ago...  After many visits to the vet and taking him to an oncologist specialist in Columbia ...  It was determined that Barko has lung cancer which has spread to his prostate, causing the prostate to mineralize and swell, pushing on his urethra, and not allowing him to release urine ...  The first step is to pay to have a surgical stent placed inside the urethra which will cost me 5,000 (not to include the 1,500 spent to finally get him properly diagnosed) .... Barko is only 8 (supposedly) ... Other than not being able to pee he’s normal, goofy Barko... I refuse to let him go so early in life unless he’s in pain ... I know he’s touched many peoples hearts and lives.....  So whatever anyone can do to help it will be greatly appreciated.... I hope this federal grant gets passed to forever take care of our retired 4 legged police and service members, so no one has to feel so financially desperate like I do right now ..... Thank You
