Help Save Raya: Urgent Surgery Needed for My baby.

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for help for someone who means the world to me, my sweet cat, Raya.

I adopted Raya about a year ago, and since then, she’s been my companion and my joy. We thought she was around 1 1/2 years old when I adopted her, but I recently found out she could be closer to 5 years old, a surprising discovery that came with even more difficult news. Over the past few months, I noticed something wasn’t right. Raya began drooling more than usual, and her breath became unusually foul. Then, last week, I found a growth in her mouth that seemed to be getting larger by the day. I was terrified, so I took her to the vet immediately. The vet confirmed my fears. The growth appears to be potentially cancerous. Raya needs surgery to have it removed and tested. The vet emphasized how critical it is to act quickly. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery and necessary care could be well over $2,000. That is just an estimate. After the surgery she could need chemo/radiation which is more than I can afford right now, even with the support of friends and family. I’m doing everything I can, but time is not on our side. Raya has been with me through some of the hardest times this past year. She’s not just a pet, she’s my family, my comfort, and my little light on dark days. Watching her suffer and not being able to help has been heartbreaking.
