Help Save Rainer: Urgent Open-Chest Surgery Needed

URGENT: Please help us save Rainer!

My name is Naleah, and I am creating this fundraiser for my dear friends Lauryn and Alexa, and their dog daughter Rainer.

Rainer began abnormally breathing around 7pm the other night (6/13) and they brought her to the emergency vet the next morning (6/14). The vet discovered she has a punctured lung (pneumothorax) and will need an emergency surgery to remove the air that is outside of her lungs, and to repair her damaged lung. This has required x-rays, radiographs, an overnight in an oxygen tank, and an emergency open-chest surgery. They love Rainer like their daughter and are doing everything they can to keep her alive.

The total for all of their vet expenses comes out to around $24,000. They have pulled everything from their savings to save her life. Lauryn and Alexa have been some of the most amazing friends I’ve ever had, and were there for me when my sweet boy Kona passed away from bone cancer. Additionally, Rainer is the sweetest girl with so much life in her. It is devastating this is happening to her, and I want to do everything I can to help. Any donations are so greatly appreciated.
