Help Save Raider: Surgery for our Pup

UPDATE 2/21: WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING DONATIONS
Guess what, everyone? Raider is back home, and we couldn't be more excited to share this fantastic news with all of you who supported us through thick and thin with our GoFundMe campaign. It's been quite a ride, and we're grateful for the amazing outcome.
Raider got the surgery he needed. This little rock might have been small, but boy, was it causing some chaos. It lodged in Raider's intestines, playing havoc and blocking his food from going down. But you all swooped in like heroes and made this surgery possible.
After the surgery, Raider's a bit wobbly on his feet; you can tell he's been through a lot. He's taking some much-deserved naps. Our main mission right now is to get his appetite back on track. We can keep him at home as long as he keeps improving and eating.
Thank you to each of you who pitched in, shared, and cared. Your support saved Raider's life, and we can't thank you enough. We can't express enough how thankful we are for all the support you've shown. And a huge shoutout to Dr. Inna and her Warm Hearts Pet Hospital staff. She's a rockstar (pun intended!) and did an amazing job with Raider's surgery.
Fingers crossed, if everything goes smoothly, in just two weeks, Raider will be getting his stitches out. We're really looking forward to that milestone.

Hello dear friends, animal lovers, and kind-hearted souls. We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a plea for help. Our beloved fur baby, Raider, is facing a health crisis that has left us shaken and desperate. We never thought we'd be in this position, but Raider needs your support now more than ever.
We are Tommy and Rachel, the proud parents of Raider, an energetic and loving pup who has brought immeasurable joy to our lives. Recently, we noticed that Raider wasn't his usual self – he stopped eating and began vomiting. Concerned for his well-being, we rushed him to the vet, hoping for a quick remedy to his distress.
The medical team performed blood and urine tests, revealing that while most of Raider's results were normal, his sugar levels were low due to his decreased appetite. The vet conducted a thorough examination and discovered the cause of Raider's suffering – a small rock lodged in his abdomen, obstructing his ability to digest food. Our hearts shattered when we heard this news, and we knew we had to do everything we could to help him recover. We've been diligently providing him with wet food and fluids, hoping the rock would pass naturally, but our efforts have been in vain thus far.

Our veterinary team has presented us with the only viable option to save Raider's life – abdominal exploratory and intestinal surgery to remove the obstruction. The estimated surgery cost is beyond our financial reach – $6467 without an ultrasound and $6932 with both the surgery and ultrasound. Despite our attempts, neither of us has been approved for a credit line covering the necessary funds.
This is where we humbly ask for your support. Raider isn't just a pet to us; he's a cherished family member. He's been there through thick and thin, a source of solace after a loss, offering unconditional love and joy that's simply irreplaceable. We can't bear the thought of losing him due to financial constraints.
Every dollar this GoFundMe campaign raises will go directly towards Raider's surgery and medical expenses. Your generous donations will cover the cost of the surgery itself, as well as the ultrasound, to ensure there are no further complications. We aim to provide Raider with the best possible care, ensuring a smooth recovery and a return to the happy, playful pup we know and love.
In times of need, the kindness and compassion of friends, family, and even strangers can make all the difference. We understand everyone has financial responsibilities, but any amount you can contribute will bring us closer to our goal and give Raider a fighting chance. Your support will impact his life and ours – restoring joy, laughter, and happiness into our home.
We thank you from the depths of our hearts for taking the time to read our story and consider our plea. Raider's life means the world to us, and we are eternally grateful for your generosity and love.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Tommy and Rachel
