Hello there! My name is Hallie and I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of the Magala Orphanage:
This is Queen, she is 1 years old.
When Queen was one months old, she was involved in a house fire, losing her parents that tragic day.
We, the Magala Kids Foundation-an orphanage in Mityana, Uganda-were called to rescue the sole survivor, one-month-old baby Queen.
We took her to Kirrudu Hospital in Kampala, Uganda where she received immediate treatment for her critical condition.
The doctors were able to perform surgery on her head, the first surgery Queen received at one months old.
Queen at just one month after suffering severe burns:
From the little support we had been receiving, and also from our jobs, we were able to buy her revealer medicine to lessen her pain and to treat her unhealed wounds. We were able to do this in 11 months, and now she is 1 years old.
We took her back to the hospital for a check-up, and was informed that 1 year old Queen needs 4 more consecutive surgeries in order for her to head wounds to heal.
The initial surgery she underwent at one month old now poses a serious risk due to the unhealed wounds on her head, which are likely to develop into cancer soon. Moreover, the wound has not yet healed properly, leaving minimal skin to cover it, which increases the likelihood of an infection that could result in brain damage.
The surgery requires over $20,000, divided into four phases, each costing $5,000. This will ensure she no longer suffers from pain or difficulties. We call upon all kind-hearted individuals to come together and help save
Queen’s life.
Medicine that is needed, costing upward of $100
The injuries that she is facing are detrimental:
Due to the extensive burns caused by the fire, she has suffered the consequences;
Moreover, the net on her brain causes pus to come out of her unhealed wounds, the Neosporin and Calendula only ease the pain she feels.
Due to our condition and situation, we are asking for your help. Please donate some of your money to help us reach our 20,000 dollar goal, to be able to pay each cost of $5,000 per surgery.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Magala Orphanage (kids foundation)
