Hi friends, familia, and kind strangers,
We’re Annette and Elizabeth, a couple based in Brownsville, Texas with a deep love for animals—especially the ones most often forgotten. Recently, we found a sweet, exhausted Great Dane wandering the streets alone. She had a collar and a microchip, and we did everything we could to track down her family. Sadly, her registered owners have not come forward, and it’s clear she’s been neglected for quite some time.
Her name is Princess—it was on her chip, and we decided to keep it. Because despite everything she’s been through, she still carries herself with grace and a gentle spirit that makes the name feel just right.
Princess is around 8 years old and already a senior in dog years. She’s incredibly loving, calm, and kind. But she’s facing some serious health challenges that we can’t tackle alone.
Princess has been diagnosed with:
• Heartworms
• Severe dental disease
• Muscular atrophy
• Chronic malnourishment and muscle loss
She needs extensive vet care including bloodwork, heartworm treatment, dental surgery, pain management, and ongoing medication for her muscular condition. While we’re committed to giving her the second chance she deserves, the medical bills are adding up fast—well beyond what we can afford on our own.
That’s why we’re turning to our community for help.
We’re raising $1500 to cover Princess’s veterinary treatment, medication, and recovery support. Every dollar helps bring her closer to living the peaceful, pain-free life she’s always deserved.
If you’ve ever loved a senior dog, or believe in second chances, we invite you to be part of Princess’s story.
Please consider donating, sharing this campaign, or sending words of encouragement—we read them all to her.
With love and gratitude,
Annette & Elizabeth
