Help Save Precious Memories for a Family
Donation protected
I incurred a head injury almost 6 years ago and have fought my way through recovery. In the process I sold everything I owned, put all our memories in storage, moved my kids in with their Dad, then got on an airplane with two suitcases & a prayer so I could move in with my parents across the country to find better doctors. It worked!
After 7 months in a concussion program, I am 95% recovered. I have found a professional network with amazing people who are championing my return to work. I'm in the board of our local non-profit PMI chapter as the Director of Marketing, in a volunteer position. I've begun meeting with prospective employers with hopes of finding a project manager role versus going back into leadership.
My hope of returning to normalcy is so strong I can almost touch it. Unfortunately, my recovery has been in survival mode and the storage shed with every memory of mine & my children's lives is about to be auctioned off for a price that could never come close to the value of what will be lost. I was encouraged by my community to start my first ever Go Fund Me. $1000 will get me current with access & $1250 would give me cushion for the next month due on the 1st.
I am eternally grateful for the community that had believed in me, stood by me & encouraged me to do hard things. Thank you for any help you can give while I keep doing hard things in pursuit of getting my life back and ultimately getting my kids back.
