Hi, my name is Amber, and I’m asking for help for my beloved cat Poppy, who is currently facing a medical emergency.

Over the past few days, Poppy began showing serious symptoms — vomiting, diarrhea, and a lack of energy. After taking her to The Honolulu Pet Clinic, x-rays showed something suspicious in her stomach. The vet is highly concerned that she may have a foreign object lodged in her intestines, which could be life-threatening if not treated.

They are doing everything they can to confirm the diagnosis, but if it is a blockage, Poppy will need emergency surgery as soon as possible to survive.

Right now, I’m doing everything I can to cover her care, but the total cost of diagnostics, IV fluids, and surgery is estimated to be between $3,000–$6,000. As much as I want to give Poppy the best chance, I simply can’t afford this on my own.

Poppy has been with me through some of the hardest times in life. She’s not just a pet — she’s my family, my comfort, and my little shadow. She still has so much life and love left in her, and I want to fight for her, but I can’t do it without help.
